Ganna Kryvolap creates her paintings through a series of cycles that vary in motif. Kryvolap stretches her landscape into abstract visions through her textured masks of color. By combining the abstract with the figurative, the realistic images are redirected and refined into compositions and symphonies. A free spirit in her choice of colors- opposite complimentary colors create a balanced visual. There is no conflict, no competition. Rather an accompaniment of visual sound. Blue, red, black, yellow, white in her paintings as fragments of priceless mosaics form in tightly structured compositions, hiding in themselves this relaxed free energy of painting so loved by the artist.
