Ivan Baldukha was born in 1954 in Ukraine. From 1975 - 1980, Baldukha studied at the Art Studio of the Palace of Culture in Kiev while also taking private lessons at the studio of Victor Zaretsky, a prominent European artist. By 1986, Baldukha graduated from the Kiev Art Academy, completing his studies in painting with distinction. Baldukha's paintings express a light and bright distinction of rich colors, depicting beautiful arrangements of flowers and landscapes of Ukraine. In 1997, a documentary film was produced about the artist. Baldukha resides and works in Ukraine. He has held numerous solo exhibitions internationally.
